  • Public information programs to further the efforts of the local health clinic in designing and promoting an effective public safety and health awareness campaign<\/li><\/ul>
    • Emergency planning to develop a comprehensive evacuation plan for citizens who could potentially be affected by flooding<\/li><\/ul>
      • Communications system research to discover a more reliable and effective means of communication than mobile phone service between neighbors, communities, districts, and islands<\/li><\/ul>
        • Development of a response plan so that residents and visitors can receive help quickly and efficiently in the event of an emergency<\/li><\/ul>
          • Daily maintenance of costly emergency vehicles and the EOC building<\/li><\/ul>
            • Training of volunteers and staff in EOC operations and emergency response<\/li><\/ul>
